DCPickup - Mixed Pickup Games
Join us for mixed pickup Ultimate games in the heart of Washington, D.C. We gather on the lush grass fields near Ohio Dr. SW and West Basin Dr. SW, adjacent to the MLK visitor center in summer or behind the FDR Memorial in winter.
Our community boasts a medium skill level with a welcoming atmosphere for beginners and kids. Expect to see a mix of forces, stalls, forehand throws, hammers, and the occasional zone defense. While we welcome higher-level players, the spirit is friendly and competitive without the edge.
Games kick off at 9:30 AM and run for approximately 2 hours. We organize teams into lights and darks, playing a series of games to 5 points. It's a great way to start your day with some spirited frisbee and good company.
