JP Sunday Ultimate - Mixed Pickup
Join the enduring spirit of Ultimate Frisbee at Jamaica Plain's Playstead, where the community has been gathering since 2004 for a game that welcomes all. Whether you're a seasoned player or a newcomer, this mixed pickup event is the perfect place to dive into the action.
The Playstead's expansive grounds accommodate us alongside golfers and cricketers, ensuring we always find our space. If you arrive first, hang tight—games typically kick off with a slight delay.
Expect a game that's informal yet brisk, where players of all ages and experience levels come together. While many regulars sport cleats and boast league experience, beginners find a warm welcome here.
We're not fair-weather players—our passion for Ultimate Frisbee sees us through most weather conditions, all year round.
The fields, featuring both grass and artificial turf, cater to our play no matter the season. Updated for summer 2023, this pickup game remains a staple for the Ultimate community in the United States.
