Macedonia/NEO Ultimate Weekly Pickup
Join the Macedonia/NEO Ultimate community for our weekly pickup games, where you'll find a diverse range of skills, from near-beginners to club and AUDL level players. The majority are seasoned league players, familiar with the fundamentals of Ultimate Frisbee, including defensive strategies like the force and offensive formations such as vert/ho stack, complemented by competent forehand throws.
Our offense often adopts an "amoeba" style, characterized by spontaneous movement, though you'll occasionally witness more structured play and strategic zone defenses. We're open to all players eager to join the fray.
Game formats adapt to participant numbers, varying from two teams of 6-7 players, to a three-team King of the Hill setup, or even two simultaneous games with four teams. Attendance fluctuates, especially peaking at 20-30 during summer months. We're committed to playing come rain or shine, with rare cancellations. On quieter nights, we keep the spirit alive with smaller games like 2v2 or minis.
Our games are held on well-maintained grass fields in Macedonia, ensuring a quality playing experience. Whether you're looking to hone your skills or just have fun, our weekly pickup games are the perfect opportunity to enjoy Ultimate Frisbee.
