Ultimate Frisbee Pickup Games at Olmos Basin
Join the long-standing tradition of Ultimate Frisbee at Olmos Basin, where players of all skill levels come together for casual games. This community has been thriving for approximately 12 years, welcoming both seasoned players and newcomers alike.
With a typical turnout of 28-38 players on Sundays, the games are lively, often expanding into two or sometimes even three simultaneous matches to accommodate everyone. Fridays see a slightly smaller group, usually enough for a single game.
Games are scheduled year-round, including holidays, with times adjusted seasonally. Currently, games are held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sundays and Fridays. In the summer, the start time shifts to 6:00 PM, while in winter, it begins at 5:00 PM with lights available for evening play.
Occasionally, due to weather conditions, the Olmos Basin Sports Complex (Soccer Fields) may be unusable. In such cases, the backup location is near McCullough and Basse, next to the baseball fields.
